How To Get Sponsored By Nike Football?
Thunder Fan asked:
How do I get sponsored by Nike for football? I am a freshman in highschool, and two running backs on my team are sponsored by Nike. They get free stuff on 90 percent of Nike products. They have given me gear, but I don’t want to always ask them. How do I get sponsored?
If you’re not going answer the question Crochet Man why the fuck are you here? Both kids are poor and if you need new cleats or something they will give everyone on the team new cleats withing a week from Nike. Our school is also sponsored by Nike, but the two players receive free gear on 90% of things and like 75% of on the other 10%

Ask them?

If I’m not mistaken, that makes your team mates professionals. Check with your Athletic Director. The NCAA frowns upon athletes getting free items that are not offered to the general school population.

are you really freaking good? we have a sophomore here who is like really amazingly good and hes the only guy ive ever known sponsored by nike so good luck.
edit: ok crochet man maybe someone was playing a prank on me because hes always wearing nike stuff and people just told me that story that i had above.

That’s BS. High school and NCAA players aren’t allowed to accept gifts or get discounts. No one on your team got anything. If you really played you’d know that.

Perhaps if I repeat myself in a little more detail, and this is for you as well, beastlywill.
1. A high school or college athlete may not receive items or discounts unless the entire student body has access to the same.
2. Equipment and uniforms may be given to the school, NOT to the student. The school may not give this equipment to the student.
3. If this does occur and the student is caught doing this, he is ineligible.
4. Nike is fully aware of these rules and knowing the impact of the consequences would NEVER violate them.
Nike has sponsorship agreements with professional athletes, professional teams, and college teams. It does not sponsor individual high school and college athletes.
If you believe two RBs on your team are sponsored by Nike, why don’t you ask them how they did it because I can guarantee you no one here is going to be able to tell you.
You do appear to have a problem with the truth. Four days ago you indicated you were entering college, “I will be finishing up my bachelors degree at Oklahoma in four years …”.
